Volunteer Information


The success of our league depends on the volunteer spirit of our players and their families. We have many opportunities for families to get involved and help make Arapahoe Little League the best league in town!

All softball and baseball division families are required to complete 10 hours of volunteer time for the league.

All baseball divisions and softball Juniors, Seniors and Big League Arapahoe families who complete their volunteer time will receive a refund of their $50 uniform deposit at the end of the season. (In the event that a player is selected to a post-season all-star team, the $50 uniform deposit can be applied to the all-star uniform.)

Adults who wish to volunteer in positions that involve direct contact with kids must pass a background check. This includes coaches, assistant coaches and team parents. If you would like to volunteer for one of these jobs, please stop by the field house on opening day and fill out a volunteer application. Please turn the completed application in to an ALL board member as soon as possible .

 Volunteer Opportunities for ages 16 and up:

·        Concessions (See below for more information)

·        Pitch Count (Talk to your team coach; 2 hours)

·        Team Mom (Talk to your team coach and review the team mom responsibilities on the ALL website under the Volunteer tab ; 10 hours)

·        Official Score Keeper (Talk to your team coach; 2 hours)

 Volunteer Opportunities for ages 10 and up:

·        Trash pickup and trash can change (Come into the field house for supplies; 1-2 hours- See below for more information)

·        Score board (Home team responsibility-must have training on scoreboard use; 2 hours)


During the regular season, each team will be assigned a time slot for concessions duty. These times will be assigned during one of the team’s scheduled games. During a team’s concessions time slot, 2 family members (age 16 and up) from that team will be responsible for helping run concessions. Team parents will receive reminders a week in advance of the team’s concessions time slot and will be responsible for recruiting parent volunteers to work in concessions. Concessions volunteers will receive credit for hours worked plus 1 additional hour towards the 10 required volunteer hours for each ALL family. Games will begin after concessions volunteers arrive in the field house.


Each team is responsible for cleaning out their dugout at the end of each game. Team parents will be responsible for recruiting one family from each team to change the dugout trash can and trash cans behind and adjacent to their team’s spectator area at the end of each game. Families will receive credit for 1 hour of volunteer time for changing trashcans at the end of games.  

To receive credit for volunteer hours, all volunteers must complete a Volunteer Form and have the form signed by an ALL board member on the SAME DAY THE HOURS ARE COMPLETED. Volunteer Forms are located inside the field house.
