Scholarship Program

Introduction

Arapahoe Little League firmly believes that each child who wishes to play baseball or softball should be able to do so regardless of skill, gender, or financial circumstances. Our league will make every effort possible to assist players experiencing financial hardship.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

Those seeking a scholarship must explain the nature of the hardship and/or provide documentation supporting the request. Applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee and families will be notified of the committee’s decision prior to uniform handout.

Specifically, to be eligible for a scholarship, the following information must be provided to Arapahoe Little League ([email protected]):

(Please note: Submission of these documents does NOT guarantee a scholarship will be granted. Scholarship requests will be considered once each of the following items has been submitted and the application is complete.)

  • A complete Scholarship Application with a detailed explanation of the financial hardship and supporting documentation, which includes a Free or Reduced Lunch Application approved by your player’s school. Additional documentation may be requested as needed. Please email [email protected] to request a scholarship application.
  • Arapahoe Little League Registration Form (May be completed online at www.arapahoelittleleague.com or in person at the field house when league volunteers are available.)
  • Proof of Residency - indicating that the player(s) reside(s) within Arapahoe Little League boundaries. (Please click on the Residency tab above to view league boundaries. Note: Softball players do NOT need to live within league boundaries. Documentation for residency includes report cards that include the player's school address, driver's license, car insurance documents, etc.)
  • Birth Certificate - indicating that the player(s) meet(s) Little League requirements in order to play in Arapahoe Little League.
